Ghanaian singer, Bisa Kdei born Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah has denied reports he sacrificed his mother in order to boost his musical career.
There have been reports linking the death of mother of ‘Mansa’ hitmaker sudden fame to rituals but he has for the first time on Accra-based Adom Fm denied the claim.
Though he admits that it emotionally affected him, he categorically denied engaging in voodoo insisting he is clean and will never commit such a sacrilege
“I can never do that. People say I killed my mom and I used her for rituals. How much money do I want that I will use someone’s life to get fame? Those things are difficult to bear…,” he exclaimed.
“When I started I was very emotional. But I sat down, analysed and became stronger. People talk anyhow and get over it in shorter time. Things don’t get to me anymore. If I know you, I will call you and ask you questions”
“Paying attention to every story can greatly affect your work or render you paralyzed…”
