The 1992 year group of the Asamankese Senior High School in the Eastern Region has handed over an ultra-modern bath and wash room worth Gh¢20,000.00 to female students in the School.

It forms part of the old student’s social responsibilities, according to leader of the group, Mr. Kwabena Agyapong Ankomah.

Speaking at a short and colourful ceremony to donate the project to the School, Mr. Kwabena Agyapong said the group is celebrating its silver Jubilee, hence, there is the need to go back to their school and support them.

He urged other old students to visit the School regularly and support them to become one of the best Senior High Schools in Ghana and pledged to continue to support the School to improve infrastructure and academic performance.

Headmaster of the School, Reverend Samuel Munyuhitum thanked the old students for their kind gesture and called on others to duplicate.

Rev. Munyuhitum was worried over an abandoned dormitory since 2006 and called on Non-Governmental Organization and Philanthropists to support the school to complete it to accommodate more students.

He pledged to work hard with his staff to move the school forward and urged all stakeholders to play their role.
